I went for a walk yesterday. Here are five things I saw.
I love this street sign. I haven't seen another like it anywhere in Tower Hamlets.
We think the typeface is Goudy Extra Bold.
This is one of the monuments in Tower Hamlets Cemetery.
I keep imagining George Huxley Bear as a children's cartoon character.
I found London's other Snoozebox Hotel adrift in a barricaded compound in a lowly backstreet near Canary Wharf.
It is not yet open.
This butcher's van made me smile.
I don't think the owner has thought through his web address as carefully as he should have done.
Someone has been leaving twee painted stones on the dock wall at London Yard, Cubitt Town.
They properly brighten the view.
I stumbled upon another proper chippie within a mile of home.
Alas I fear most of Alan's clientele plump for the kebab & burger options.
Actually that's six things, sorry.
(I'll delete the least interesting one later)
