I've got used to not taking my wallet out with me when I leave the house. I'm not normally heading to a shop, nor anywhere I might spend money, so why go to the hassle of carting it around? But this does mean that what's inside my wallet is even more out of date than usual...
» Cash: Several crisp £20 notes I withdrew from a machine just before lockdown thinking "these might be useful". Also the usual selection of coins (includes a pound coin, still essential for unlocking the trolley at my local supermarket).
» Debit card: Probably getting used about once a week. Expiry date is safely into 2022, so that's one less concern.
» Driving licence: Expires June 2029 because I renewed it last summer. The DVLA rolled over the photo from my previous card, yay, which means I'll still look 46 when I'm 66. Also includes EU flag.
» European Health Insurance Card: Expires March 2022, not that it'll be terribly useful by then.
» Tesco clubcard: Getting regular use.
» Nectar card: I don't normally go to Sainsbury's any more so I can't remember the last time I used it. I wonder how many points I've accumulated, I think it's quite a few... [goes to nectar.com] ... [attempts to log in] ... "Sorry, your Nectar account has been closed. We’ve closed your Nectar account as you’ve not used it to collect or spend points for more than 12 months. If you’d like to join Nectar again, you can register for a new card." Stuff that, bastards. It's the bin for you, Nectar.
» My Old Dutch loyalty card: I've got five stamps, I need four more for a free pancake.
» Idea Store card: Last used in March. My loaned books currently have a renewal date 24 weeks after they were taken out.
» National Trust card: Expired 30 April 2020. I do have the new one (expires 30 April 2021) but I haven't got round to putting it in my wallet because there's been nowhere to use it.
» Art Pass: Expired 31 January 2020. No plans to renew.
» County Archive Research Network Reader's Ticket: Expired January 2012. Only ever used it in Essex.
» National Archives Reader's Ticket: Expired 23 August 2020. Dammit, I might as well remove this too. My wallet's a bit less fat now.
