Some days the only thing to do is stand on the clifftop at Beachy Head and peer over the edge.
It really is a very long way down.
But some days the Red Arrows come along.
And a Lancaster bomber flies past.
And the experience provides some welcome uplift.
Hurrah for the Eastbourne Air Show (continues today).
