Tomorrow afternoon the International Olympic Commitee meets to decide the venue of the 2010 Winter Olympics. There are three nominations. Usually nobody gives a damn who gets chosen to host the Winter Olympics because nobody ever watches them anyway. It's just two weeks of goggle-eyed lycra-clad so-called-athletes hurling themselves down steep icy slopes at unnatural speeds. Who cares? Well this time I do, because this time the vote matters. And, BASICally, here's why.
