London in stolen pictures: I was alerted yesterday that one of my Flickr photos had been appropriated by Mail Online, the Daily Mail's news website, and published without due attribution. They'd used my Wembley IKEA photo to illustrate a story about a hit-and-run on the North Circular, and slapped an entirely inappropriate "© Flickr" in the bottom left hand corner. All in direct contravention of the photo's Creative Commons licence. So, having taken advice, I rang up the Mail's Online Pictures Editor and got the photo removed. Result. But, sheesh.
