Normal service on this blog is suspended while everyone in London draws back the curtains.
And looks at the overnight snow.
And gasps.
And jumps up and down like a little kid.
And rushes outside to enjoy the white stuff.
And dances around in the tumbling flakes.
And takes photos on their mobile.
And sends the photos to all their friends.
And walks out onto the treacherous pavement.
And slips over.
And curses the bloody snow.
And wishes they had the day off and didn't have to go to work.
And everyone in Scotland says "Oh come on London, pull yourself together, it's only snow."ALL LONDON BUSES HAVE BEEN WITHDRAWN FROM SERVICE DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER AND DANGEROUS ROAD CONDITIONS.What, like all of them? Sheesh!
And how about the tube?BAKERLOO LINE: Suspended between Queens Park and Harrow and Wealdstone due to adverse weather conditions.That doesn't sound like fun either.
CIRCLE AND HAMMERSMITH & CITY LINES: Suspended due to adverse weather conditions.
DISTRICT LINE: Suspended between Edgware Road and Wimbledon and between Earls Court and Kensington Olympia due to adverse weather conditions.
JUBILEE LINE: Suspended between Waterloo and Stanmore due to adverse weather conditions.
METROPOLITAN LINE: Suspended between Harrow on the Hill and Amersham/Chesham due to adverse weather conditions.
NORTHERN LINE: Suspended between Finchley Central and High Barnet due to adverse weather conditions.
PICCADILLY LINE: Suspended between Acton Town and Rayners Lane with minor delays on the rest of the line due to adverse weather conditions.
WATERLOO & CITY LINE: Suspended due to adverse weather conditions.
And I really have to get to work this morning, no matter what.
