Local News: Scotland
You don't have to live in Scotland to appreciate it. Now you can celebrate the quirkier side of Caledonia in a new book by Anne Ward. She's been writing a blog called Nothing To See Here for years, and now her blog leaps into print in a book of the same name. From Electric Brae (an optically illusory road near Ayr) via Storybook Glen (a parkful of statues near Aberdeen) to the legendary Tunnocks factory (chocolate heaven, with tea rooms), everything's here. Even if you'll never get to visit these places, Anne's bright and bold visual style should charm its way onto your bookshelf. £6.99 will get you a copy, but there's an introductory 20% discount if you know where to look. Nothing To See Here? On the contrary, plenty.
