What happened next?
A couple of weeks ago I pointed out some of the things that weren't quite right about some of my local bus stops.
Almost immediately someone rushed down to the Marshgate Lane bus stop and stuck a big red cross back over the number 25, and covered the timetable back over again, because it seems the 25 isn't coming down off the flyover any time soon. It seems that someone jumped the gun in removing the cross, and that when TfL said "Route 25 will return to run via Bow roundabout as soon as the current major roadworks on the route are complete" this may not actually have been true.
But there's been more exciting news regarding Bus Stop M. Since October there have been two Bus Stop Ms in Bow, one of which was supposed to be re-lettered Bus Stop E in June to avoid confusion, but this never happened. And within a week of me mentioning this, someone popped down to Tredegar Road and swapped the incorrect M for a correct E, so now both the digital designation and the spider map match physical reality. This pleases me.
Not that this is all about me, you understand.
